Local baseball players named All-Stars

Local teams Hartford-Fort Edward, Granville and Whitehall are well represented on the Adirondack League’s baseball All-Stars.

The TanaForts placed two players on the first team, while Granville and Whitehall each had a player receive top billing. The Golden Horde also had a player named to the second team.

League champion Lake George led the way with four players honored. Brody McCabe of the Warriors was named the Adirondack League Player of the Year.

Lake George’s Brendan Lamby and Luke Sheldon were also named to the first team. Lamby was the 2021 Most Valuable Player.

Other players selected to the first team: Jackson Thomas of league runner-up Salem-Cambridge, Jack Dornan of Class D finalist Fort Ann, Drake Stewart and Bryce Tyler of Hartford-Fort Edward, Caleb Nelson of Granville, Tyler Plummer of Hadley-Luzerne and Brandon Bakerian of Whitehall.

Named to the second team were Ben Cuthbert of Argyle, David White of Corinth, Callon Sutliff of Fort Ann, Alex Torres of Granville, Ryan Lott-Diamond of Hadley-Luzerne, Max Dickenson of Lake George, Eli Danio and Connor Chilson of Salem-Cambridge and Brady Cheney of Warrensburg.
