According to Washington 7 News, The Girl Scouts of America are being sued over the alleged presence of heavy metals, including lead and pesticide glyphosate, in some of their cookies. The action lawsuit in the amount of at least $5 million was filed March 10 in New York stating the claims by the plaintiffs were in violation of New York’s consumer protection laws. Moms Across America tested 25 samples from California, Iowa and Louisiana.
