Granville Holds off Tanagers in Assembly Game

It was the annual Assembly Game at the Ella Colvin Gym in Hartford, and Granville set up an Adirondack League showdown with Lake George this afternoon with a 56-46 victory over Hartford.

Coming into today’s game Lake George is second in the ADK with two losses. Granville is in fourth with three defeats and is battling to keep their playoff hopes alive.

RJ Monger led the Golden Horde with 19 points. Isiah Guyton added 11 points for Granville.

Nate Fiske led Hartford with 14 points. Austin Wells and Aiden Swezey each contributed 11 points for the Tanagers.

Granville is 8-3, 11-5. Hartford is 3-8, 6-11.

Corinth Girls Finish Unbeaten ADK Slate

The Corinth girls basketball team finished Adirondack League play unbeaten, topping Whitehall 50-32 Friday night.

Emily Dingmon recorded a double-double for the Riverhawks with 17 points and 11 boards.

Caitlyn Crossman added 10 points for Corinth. Whitney Cameron had nine, with Taylor Stone contributing eight points and six rebounds.

Samantha Howland led the Railroaders with 12 points.

Corinth is now 10-0, 15-1. Whitehall is 5-5, 6-11.

Warrensburg Wins on Senior Night

Warrensburg defeated Fort Ann on Senior Night in Warrensburg by a score of 40-13.

Warrensburg seniors Bridget Anaman (6 points, 5 steals) and Hope Sherman (10 points, 18 rebounds) played well for the Lady Burghers.

Elli York led Warrensburg with 14 points and 6 blocks.

Fort Ann was led by Cherokie Steves (5 points), Addyson Burch (4 points), and Madison Freebern (4 points).

With the win, Warrensburg improves its record to 9-1 in the Adirondack League and 16-2 overall.

Warrensburg will host Hartford in the Adirondack League Semifinals on Wednesday.

Corinth Defeats Whitehall

The Corinth boys basketball team stayed alive in the Adirondack League boys playoff race with a 52-42 win on the road at Whitehall.

Avery Stone scored 16 points and Kaden Wright added 15 for the Riverhawks.

Latrell Evans netted a game-high 17 points for the Railroaders.

Corinth is now 7-4, 10-6. Whitehall is 6-5, 12-6.
