ADK Players Named to State Volleyball All-Stars

Lake George, a state finalist, led the way as several local players were selected as New York State Class D volleyball all-stars.

The Lakers were represented on the first team by Junior right side/setter Evie Burke and senior outside hitter Angelina Minnear.

Junior libero Josie Duers made the all-state third team for Lake George.

Hartford senior middle hitter Raeghan Liebig was named to the fifth team.

Argyle senior middle hitter Raegan Humiston was also selected as a fifth-team all-star.

Slaters Named Division II Football All-Stars

Several Fair Haven football players have been awarded for their outstanding seasons by being selected as Vermont Division II all-stars.

Named to the Division II first team for the Slaters were quarterback Joe Buxton, running back Billy Lussier, wide receiver Trey Lee, tight end Phil Bean, offensive linemen Gabe Bache, defensive linemen Phil Bean, Gabe Bache, Ty Mackey, linebackers Sam Kyhill and Tim Kendall, defensive back Trey Lee and punter Joe Buxton.

Earning second-team honors were running back Max Kyhill, athlete Tim Kendall, offensive lineman Ty Ferguson, defensive lineman Billy Lussier, and defensive back and kicker Sam Kyhill.

Receiving honorable mention from the Slaters were athlete Sam Kyhill, offensive lineman Gabe Barrows, tight end Brennan Hayes, defensive lineman Porter Silva, and defensive back Tyler Jackson.
