The board of directors, staff and animals at Rutland County Humane Society would like to thank everyone in the community who has supported its end-of-year $35,000 matching challenge!

The society is grateful for the donations it received from animal lovers county- and state-wide. Not only was it able to reach its goal; it surpassed it.

The grand total came in at $41,587.39.

The society’s board of directors, staff and animals want all to know how much they appreciate the animal-loving community.
