A Whitehall man was arrested for DWI in Fair Haven after he was pulled over and had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.

Michael J. Wilson, 24, of Whitehall, was arrested on Nov. 6 after police observed a motor vehicle he was driving leave the roadway on Route 4A in Fair Haven.

After conducting an interview, police detected the odor of alcohol and Wilson subsequently failed field sobriety tests. He was found to have a BAC of .175, more than twice the local legal limit.

Wilson was issued a ticket to appear in Rutland District Court at a later date.
