Golden Horde Stay Hot

The Granville boys basketball stayed hot and continued their climb into Adirondack League playoff contention with a 66-44 win over Lake George on the road.

The Golden Horde used a balanced offensive attack with Liam Farrell and Matt Vladyka scoring 14 points each.

Isaiah Guyton contributed 12 points and Cam Rathbun 11 for Granville.

Max Hohman scored 15 points for the Lakers. Dan Weaver added nine.

Granville is now 2-2, 5-6, and has won five of their last six games after starting 0-5.

Lake George is 2-3, 2-10.

Whitehall Bounces Back with Win

Whitehall bounced back from their first league loss, defeating Fort Ann 58-44 in an Adirondack League matchup.

Latrell Evans paced the Railroaders with 17 points.

Enzo Rehm added 16 points.

Javier Hernandez led the Cardinals with 14 points.

Whitehall improves to 4-1, 8-2. Fort Ann is 1-3, 4-5.

Whitehall Girls Roll Over Fort Ann

Whitehall girls basketball teams are known for their defense under coach Boyd Hunt. Friday night the Railroaders had their defense on full display as they rolled over Fort Ann 53-7 in an Adirondack League contest.

It was the eighth with in a row for Whitehall after opening the season 0-2.

Levyn Burgey led Whitehall with 13 points. Mia Waters added 11 and Haylee Pratt 10.

Mary Mahoney had four points for the Cardinals.

Whitehall is 4-0, 8-2. Fort Ann is 0-3, 3-5.

Riverhawks Win Showdown over Burghers

The game was tight for a quarter but Corinth pulled away in the second to defeat Warrensburg 49-23 in Adirondack League girls basketball Friday night.

Bella Craig fired in a career-high 18 points for the Riverhawks.

Whitney Cameron added 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Zaily Baker had nine points for the Burghers.

Corinth stayed unbeaten in league play at 4-0, 6-3. Warrensburg falls to 1-2, 5-5.

Lake George Girls Edge Granville

The Lake George girls basketball team held on to edge Granville 44-40 in an Adirondack League contest.

Madyson Brennan led the way with 17 points for Lake George. Chloe Popa and Mykah Collier-Fisher finished with 12 points.

Paige Taylor and Melanie Fisher had 13 points each for the Golden Horde.
