Warrensburg defeats Tanagers

Warrensburg coach Scott Smith made his homecoming a successful one as his Burghers defeated Hartford 54-46 in Adirondack League girls basketball at the Ella Colvin Gym.

Elli York netted a game-high 23 points to lead the Burghers to the victory.

Caitlin O’Donnell added 14 points and Avah Fiorentino had nine for the winners.

McKenzie Johnson scored 13 points and Cailin Severance nine for the Tanagers.

Warrensburg is 1-1, 5-4. Hartford is 1-2, 4-4.

Railroaders Cruise Past Granville

The Whitehall girls basketball team used their trademark defense to cruise past Granville 37-13 in an Adirondack League contest. It was the seventh consecutive win for the Railroaders.

Cheyenne Holman led Whitehall with 11 points.

Ella Olsen had five points for Granville.

Whitehall is now 3-0, 7-2. Granville is 2-2, 2-6.

Corinth Tops Cardinals

The Corinth girls basketball team topped Fort Ann 46-13 in an Adirondack League matchup.

Caitlyn Crossman scored 11 points and Bella Craig added 10 to lead the Riverhawks.

Sage Shanahan contributed nine points for Corinth.

Cherokie Steves scored five points for the Cardinals.

Corinth is 3-0, 5-3. Fort Ann is 0-2, 2-4.

Lake George Defeats Scots

Lake George defeated Argyle 34-20 in Adirondack League girls basketball.

Madyson Brennan led the Lakers with 12 points.

Mykah Collier-Fisher filled up the stat sheet with 13 points and seven steals.

Ava Cormie had seven points for the Scots.

Charlotte Millington grabbed 18 rebounds for the Scots, who also got 11 boards from Delainey Bates and 10 from Bri Reid.

Lake George is 3-1, 6-2. Argyle is 0-3, 1-7.
