Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I’m Keith Harrington.

Hartford fell behind early but scored four runs over the fourth and fifth innings to top Argyle 5-2 in TCML softball.

Argyle led 2-1 after three innings but the Chaos scored two runs in the fourth to take a 3-2 lead and added a pair of runs in the fifth to increase the margin to 5-2.

Pitcher Reagan Gebo and a strong defensive effort took over the rest of the way as Hartford held Argyle scoreless the remainder of the contest.

Ollie Cutler ripped an RBI triple in the fourth to score Arianna Raymond. Cutler scored on a sacrifice bunt by Gebo.

In the fifth Silver Stewart blasted a two-run homer run to give the Chaos the cushion they needed.

Argyle loaded the bases in the bottom of the fifth but Gebo recorded a clutch strikeout to end the threat.

Gebo earned the win in the circle for Hartford. Despite the loss, Riley Kobo had a solid outing for Argyle with 13 Ks.

Cutler, Raymond, and Cailin Severance all had a pair of hits for Hartford. Stewart was 1 for 2.

Brooke Austin, Laura Pagano, and Ava Cormie singled for Argyle.

Hartford improved to 6-2.
