Hartford Can’t Hold off Warrensburg in TCML Softball

Hartford fashioned a comfortable lead, but could not hold off a Warrensburg rally and dropped an 8-7 decision in TCML softball back on Monday evening.

The Chaos led 7-3 heading to the seventh but Warrensburg scored five runs to come from behind for the win. Warrensburg took advantage of three Hartford walks and two errors in the decisive frame.

Brynn Tyler was 2 for 2 at the plate with a triple for Hartford. Arianna Raymond was also 2 for 3 and drove in a pair of runs.

McKenzie Dickinson was 1 or 3 with two RBIs for the Chaos. Cailin Severance and Madalyn Meade-Collins also contributed hits.

Hartford fell to 4-2.

Fort Ann and West Rutland Play to a Tie

Fort Ann and West Rutland played to a 5-5 tie on Monday in TCML softball action. It was the second time in a row that Westside fell to Fort Ann.

West Rutland led 4-1, but Fort Ann rallied to take a 5-4 lead heading to the bottom of the seventh. West Rutland scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game which was halted after the seventh for reaching the league’s 1 hour 45 minute time limit.

Jadyn Mitchell was the winning pitcher for Fort Ann with 14 strikeouts, only giving up two hits.

Anna Souza had two RBIs for West Rutland. Hayley Raiche and Lauren Palmer had the two West Rutland hits.

Lillian Trzaskos singled for Fort Ann. Gabby Gordon chipped in an RBI. Brooke Van Ness and Hailey Lashinski added hits.

Fort Ann is now is 5-1-1. West Rutland is 2-3-1.
