Fort Ann Rallies Past West Rutland in TCML Softball

Fort Ann erased a five-run deficit in the sixth inning to rally past West Rutland 8-7 in TCML softball on Wednesday.

West Rutland had fashioned a 7-2 lead heading to the sixth, but Fort Ann plated six runs in the frame to take the lead and held on in the seventh.

Fort Ann benefitted from eight West Rutland errors in the contest.

Jaydyn Mitchell earned the win in the circle for Fort Ann, striking out 10.

Hailey Lashinski was 3 for 3 with four RBIs for Fort Ann. Brooke Van Ness added a two-run single and drove in the game-winner.

Hayley Raiche was 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs. Georgia Donaldson added a two-run bunt single.

Fort Ann is 4-1. West Rutland is 2-3.
