Hartford took the lead in the sixth inning and held off Lake George in the seventh to take a 7-6 win in TCML Softball.
Lake George led 3-0 after the top of the fourth, but Hartford scored three times in the bottom of the stanza to tie it up.
Hartford pushed across four runs in the bottom of the sixth to grab a 7-3 advantage.
Lake George was not done yet. They scored three runs in the top of the seventh to slice the deficit to one, but Hartford closed the door. Reagan Gebo struck out the final two batters to secure the victory.
Gebo earned the win in the circle with 14 strikeouts. Gebo was also 1 for 3 at the plate with an RBI.
Cailin Severance was 2 for 3 with a double for Hartford. Arianna Raymond added four RBIs. Madalyn Meade-Collins was 1 for 3.
Hartford improved to 4-1 on the season and will host Slate Valley next Tuesday after visiting Warrensburg on Monday.
