12:08 a.m. – Following an investigation into alleged incidents in May and June, deputies, with the assistance of the Vermont State police, apprehended 34-year-old Joseph C. Thompson of West Rutland. Thompson is alleged to have stalked, menaced with bodily injury and acted in a disorderly manner toward an Anderson Street resident in West Rutland.  Thompson was charged with the three offenses, processed and transported to the Rutland Regional Medical Center for evaluation. He was issued a citation with an order to appear in Vermont Superior Court at a later date and time.
