ADK Playoff Schedule

Three games are on tap for the Adirondack League baseball and softball playoffs for today but weather will be a major factor. Here is the schedule:

Baseball

#4 Hartford-Fort Edward at #1 Warrensburg

#3 Granville at #2 Hadley-Luzerne

Softball

#3 Whitehall at #2 Granville

The baseball consolation and championship games are scheduled for East Field Friday at 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

The softball championship and consolation games are scheduled for Moreau Rec at 4:30 pm.

Generals Blank Scots to Reach ADK Title Game

Salem reached the Adirondack League title game Tuesday, blanking No. 4 Argyle 6-0. The top-seeded Generals will meet the winner of today’s game between No. 3 Whitehall and No. 2 Granville.

Sophia Keyes spun a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts to lead Salem.

Bella Garrison blasted a two-run triple for the Generals. Jenna McCauliffe added a two-run single. Keays helped her own cause with a double. Renee Cary chipped in a pair of hits and Meredith Barrett had a sac fly.

Maddy Eldred had six strikeouts for the Scots.

Grace Depew had the lone Argyle hit.

Salem is now 12-3.

Sherman No-Hitter Leads Burghers

Hope Sherman fired a no-hitter as Warrensburg rolled over Hadley-Luzerne 25-0 in an Adirondack League contest.

Sherman recorded 10 Ks and walked one.

Warrensburg is 4-7, 5-10.

Fort Ann Defeats Corinth

Fort Ann defeated Corinth 6-2 in an Adirondack League crossover game.

Emma Blondin picked up the win in the circle with 13 Ks for the Cardinals. Blondin gave up just three hits.

Jadyn Mitchell led Fort Ann at the plate, going 3 for 3 with two doubles.

Maddie Freebern had an RBI double and Cherokie Steves had two singles for the Cardinals.

Kenadee Flint doubled for Corinth. Teagan Grady and Makenna Eastman chipped in hits for the Riverhawks.

Fort Ann is now 9-3. Corinth is 7-9.

Lake George Edges Johnstown

Lake George edged Johnstown 7-6 in a non-league baseball matchup Tuesday.

The game went to extra innings with the Lakers scoring two runs in the top of the ninth and held on for the win.

Bobby Starratt and Jack Welch each had four hits and three RBIs for Lake George.

Nick Wagemann added a pair of doubles. Angelo Bergman added two hits for the Lakers.

Lake George raised their mark to 7-9.

North Warren Defeats Argyle

North Warren defeated Argyle 8-1 in Adirondack League baseball.

Wyatt Jennings struck out 15 batters in seven innings to earn the win on the bump. Jennings also blasted a three-run homer.

Maceo Matson added a double, and single for the Cougars.

Ben Cuthbert led the Scots with a solo home run and a single and struck out eight batters in five innings of work.

North Warren is 5-5. Argyle is 8-8.
