Hartford-Fort Edward Defeats North Warren

The Hartford-Fort Edward baseball team defeated North Warren 11-1 on the road Monday as they attempted to keep their hopes for an Adirondack League playoff spot alive.

Joe Allen scattered five hits and struck out 11 to lead the Tanaforts.

Aiden Swezey had three hits including a double H-FE. Zach Bartholomew added a two-run triple and a single, finishing with four RBIs.

Will Lindsey and C.J. Barlow each recorded two hits for the Cougars.

Hartford is now 4-4 in ADK play. North Warren is 4-3.

Glens Falls Cruises Past Horde

Granville traveled to Glens Falls for a non-league contest, with the Black Bears cruising past the Golden Horde 11-2 at the Morse Complex.

The third inning proved decisive as Glens Falls plated eight runs in the frame.

Addie Hill and Izzy Johnson combined to pitch a four-hitter for Glens Falls.

Lily Canale and Johnson both blasted homers for the Black Bears.

Johnson and Grace Herrick each had two hits. Jaden Mathis added an RBI single.

Ella Olsen was 2 for 3 at the plate for the Golden Horde. Melissa Beaver chipped in a hit.

Glens Falls is 9-3. Granville is 8-3.

Slaters Fall to Woodstock

The Fair Haven baseball team was on the verge of their first win of the season, but came up just a little short, falling to Woodstock 5-4 on Tuesday.

The Slaters were led by Cody Adams on the mound with five strikeouts through five innings.

Joe Buxton and Noah Woodbury each doubled and contributed two RBIs for Fair Haven. Sam Kyhill also doubled.

Woodstock was led by Riley O’Neal who earned the win on the bump with nine strikeouts. O’Neil also had a hit and an RBI.

Fair Haven is 0-6 on the season.

Salem-Cambridge Tops Berlin-New Lebanon

Stephen Yakubec filled the stat sheet as Salem-Cambridge topped Berlin-New Lebanon 14-1 in a non-league baseball contest.

Yakubec doubled, tripled, and drove in a run for the Generals.

Sawyer Saddlemire added two hits, three RBIs, and two steals for Salem-Cambridge. James Beagle had two hits and two RBIs.

Abe Cushing and Isaiah Lohret combined on a three-hitter with seven strikeouts for Salem-Cambridge.

Tyler Shuhart tripled and scored on Jake Bossor’s single for Berlin-New Lebanon. Kalob Sweenor also had a hit.

Salem-Cambridge is 4-5.
