The coaches of the Adirondack League announced their boys’ basketball all-stars for the 2023-24 season this week. Both Whitehall and Granville were represented in the selections.

Warrensburg senior Steve Schloss was named the league’s Most Valuable Player. Schloss finished his career with 1,583 points and is the Burgher’s all-time leading scorer.

Whitehall junior Latrell Evans was selected to the first team. Evans eclipsed the 1,000-point mark and led the Railroaders to a 14-8 record.

Junior Liam Farrell from Granville earned second-team honors. Farrell led the Golden Horde in scoring at 17.9 points per game.

Also selected for the first team were North Warren eighth-grader Semaj Cuyler, junior Jack Welch of Lake George, and seniors Evan LaPell of Warrensburg and Brandon Saunders of Argyle.

Argyle senior Dru Austin, Fort Edward senior Zach Bartholomew, Lake George senior Angelo Bergmanl, and North Warren senior Derrick Tyrell join Farrell on the second team.
