Corinth Punches Ticket to ADK Title Game

The Corinth girls basketball team punched their ticket to the Adirondack League title game with a 51-32 win over local rival Hadley-Luzerne in a semifinal matchup Wednesday night.

With the victory, the Riverhawks earned a date with Hartford in a rematch of the 2022 championship game on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Hudson Falls High School.

Whitney Cameron led Corinth with 18 points. Emily Dingmon contributed 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Taylor Stone chipped in 10 points. Caitlyn Crossman had nine rebounds and four assists.

McKenzie Maslonka led the Eagles with 15 points.

Corinth improved to 16-1 on the season. Hadley-Luzerne fell to 10-9.

Granville Sweeps Salem

Granville swept the season series with Salem, defeating the Generals 52-29 in an Adirondack League crossover game.

The Golden Horde took control right from the start of this one. Granville led 16-6 after the first quarter and 31-11 at the break.

Megan Decker and Ella Olsen both recorded double-doubles for the Golden Horde. Decker finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Olsen contributed 13 points and 16 boards.

Melissa Beaver dished out 10 assists for Granville.

Ava Dupuis paced the Generals with 14 points.

Granville raised their mark to 8-9. Salem fell to 8-10.

Howland, Whitehall Cruise Past Lakers

The Whitehall girls basketball team cruised past Lake George 56-22 in an Adirondack League crossover game Wednesday night.

Samantha Howland poured in 25 points to lead the Railroaders.

Mady Brennan scored 10 points for the Lakers.

Whitehall is now 7-11. Lake George is 3-15.

Poultney Girls Handle Sharon Academy

The Poultney girls basketball team went on the road and handled Sharon Academy 39-22 in Vermont girls basketball.

Hailey Hayes led the Blue Devils with 10 points. Bella Mack added seven.

Poultney is now 6-9. Sharon is 1-14.

Poultney Boys Roll

The Poultney boys basketball team rolled over Sharon Academy on the road 49-19 Wednesday night.

Poultney is now 8-8 on the season.

North Warren Edges Cardinals

North Warren opened a double-digit lead then held off a Fort Ann 34-33 in an Adirondack League girls basketball crossover game.

The Cougars led by as much as 12, and held a seven-point advantage heading to the final stanza.

The Cardinals closed the game with a 14-8 third quarter but came up short.

Bella Tucci led North Warren with 13 points. Addison Swan scored 10.

Adrianna Sharrow led Fort Ann with 10 points. Kayleigh Hardy and Savannah Aratare added nine points each for the Cardinals.

North Warren is now 4-12. Fort Ann is 6-14.
