Hampton-Surrounded by family, Roxann Flynn, 81, co-owner of the Panorama Motel in Hampton, NY departed this life peacefully at Glens Falls Hospital on Thursday, January 18, after a few months’ illness.
She was born Roxann Lorraine Lewis in Hartford, CT, on October 25,1942, to George and Gertrude (Leining) Lewis. A graduate of the University of Connecticut at Storrs and part of the pioneering wave of computer programmers at GTE in Needham, MA. Roxann was married to the love of her life, Peter J. Flynn, on March 16, 1968 and lived in Waltham, MA, Wheaton, lL, and Franklin, MA with Peter and their loving daughters, Kelly and Heather, during which time she brought her artistic and math sides together doing Hampton-Surrounded by family, Roxann Flynn, 81, co-owner of the Panorama Motel in Hampton, NY departed this life peacefully at Glens Falls Hospital on Thursday, January 18, after a few months illness.

Flynn, on March 16, 1968, and lived in Waltham, MA, Wheaton, lL, and Franklin, MA with Peter and their loving daughters, Kelly, and Heather, during which time she brought her artistic and math sides together doing professional work as an upholsterer and a tailor.
ln later years Peter and Roxann lived in Ayer, MA, before purchasing the Panorama Motel in Hampton in 2002-where Roxann was able to indulge her love of meeting and connecting with new people as a business owner, as well devoting herself more fully to her lifelong avocation of making beautiful art quilts. Many dozens of her extended family own one of these cherished labors of love to remember her by, gifted at graduations and other rites of passage.
Her grieving family includes husband Peter, daughters Kelly Anne Erickson and Heather Jean Plude and her husband Mike Plude, grandchildren Elian Erickson, Cullen Flynn, and Jocelyn Flynn, and sister Lanette June Breault and her husband Ken Breault.
Family and friends may call from 10AM-10:45AM on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at the Jillson Funeral Home Inc., 46 Williams St., Whitehall, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM following calling hours, at the Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, NY on January 23, 2024, with Father Zachariah Chichester officiating.
