Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I’m Keith Harrington. 

Granville, Whitehall Finish  2-4 at Slater Duals, Lee Wins 100th 

On Saturday, the Granville wrestling team went 2-4 at the annual Slater Duals in Fair Haven. 

The Golden Horde defeated Mount Anthony 42-12 and Fair Haven 42-18. 

Granville fell to Oneonta 51-13, Mount Abraham 34-30, and Springfield 48-36. 

Nathan Barber went 3-0 in the meet for the Golden Horde. Jaxon Torres finished 3-1. 

Brandon Beaver went 2-1 for Granville. 

Whitehall also went 2-4 at the event. 

Matt Ingerson went 3-0 for the Railroaders. Allen Beaulieu finished 2-1. 

Ayden Smith went 3-2 for Whitehall. 

Granville and Whitehall did not go head to head at the meet but will face each other Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Granville. 

It was also a banner day for Fair Haven’s Trey Lee who recorded his 100th career win. 

 Lee reached the milestone with a pin of Mount Abraham’s Isayah Isham. He went 6-0 at the meet with four pins and two forfeits. ‘
