Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I’m Keith Harrington. 

Adirondack League Girls Soccer All-Stars

The coaches of the Adirondack League have named their all-stars for the 2023 season. League champion Bolton-Warrensburg along with state semifinalist Fort Ann were well represented. 

High-scoring Carolina Lott-Diamond of Hadley-Luzerne was named the league’s Most Valuable Player. Lott-Diamond scored 32 goals this season and finished her career with 117 goals.

Bolton-Warrensburg is represented on the first team by senior goalie Hope Sherman, senior midfielder Ila Hubert, and junior forward Madison Goodspeed.

Freshman forward Olivia Winchell and junior defender Brooke Van Ness were named to the first team from Fort Ann. 

Also named to the first team were Lake George sophomore forward Mykah Collier-Fisher and junior forward Katie Seguljic, Corinth junior midfielder Caitlyn Crossman, Whitehall senior defender Samantha Howland, Salem junior forward Sophia Keays, and Hadley-Luzerne senior goalie Madison Lent. 

Receiving second team honors were sophomore goalie Baylee Wright, senior midfielder Madison Freebern and freshman defender Lillian Trzaskos from Fort Ann, senior defender Sarah Abbott, senior midfielder Lindsay Fortner, and senior forward Gabby Graham from Hadley-Luzerne,  junior defender Zailey Baker, and sophomore defender Maille Kelley of Bolton-Warrensburg, Salem senior goalie Bella Garrison; Lake George sophomore defender Lilly Montville, and Whitehall sophomore goalie Khloe Paddock.
