Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I’m Keith Harrington.

The Vermont Soccer Coaches Association has released its 2023 all-state soccer teams, and several local players were recognized.

In girls Division IV Poultney, Proctor, West Rutland and MSJ were each represented.

MSJ: Riley Collins, sophomore midfielder; Isabella Anderson, freshman midfielder; Emma Blodorn, senior forward.

Poultney: Bella Mack, senior midfielder.

Proctor: Isabel Greb, senior striker; Emma Palmer, junior forward.

West Rutland: Samara Raiche, senior defender; Kennah Wright-Chapman, junior defender.

Fair Haven placed three players on the Division III squad.

Fair Haven: Lily Briggs, senior midfielder; Elizabeth Love, junior midfielder; Madison Perry, junior forward.

In Division II Otter Valley was represented with one player on the team.

Otter Valley: Linnea Faulkner, senior goalkeeper.

On the boys Division IV side MSJ, Proctor, and West Rutland had players recognized.

MSJ: Malcolm Whitman, senior forward; Dominick Phillips, senior goalkeeper.

Proctor: Matt Nop, senior forward; Dylan Aker, senior midfielder; Isaac Parker, senior midfielder.

West Rutland: Tristan Rocke, junior midfielder; Garrett Owens, senior defender.

Fair Haven placed a player on the Division III team.

Fair Haven: Asa Young, junior midfielder.

In Division II Otter Valley had one player selected.

Otter Valley: Owen Thomas, senior forward.

Rutland had one player named to the Division I team.

Rutland: Ben Cerreta, senior midfielder.
