WHITEHALL – John “Jack” L. Rich passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 20, 2023.  Jack was 72 years old and had a twin brother. 

Jack is survived by his siblings, Joan McGrath, Roy Rich, Emerson Rich, Cathy (John) Gladd, and his twin brother James.

Jack is predeceased by his mother and father, Jenny and Gorman Rich; siblings Donald Rich (infant) and Stanley Rich; brother-in-law John McGrath; sisters-in-law Julie Rich and Elizabeth Rich; and also many nieces and nephews. 

At Jack’s request, there will be no services or events planned. The burial will be private and at a later date.

Donations can be made in Jack’s name to the VASA ATV Club, as Jack was a well-respected member for more than 20 years.

Arrangements are under the care of the Jillson Funeral Home, 46 Williams St., Whitehall, NY 12887.
