The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, NYS Police and other police agencies have begun a coordinated effort to bring the dangers of impaired driving to the forefront.

Labor Day/ End of Summer is one of the busiest travel times of the year and multiple law enforcement agencies are collaborating  across the county and the state to reduce the number of impaired driving-related injuries and deaths through an aggressive preventive and detection program that runs through Sept. 4.

DWI related accidents are always in the news, often resulting in unspeakable tragedies. Don’t be the one responsible for serious injury or death to another person or yourself. If convicted, you may lose your driver’s license and/or face jail time, according to the Stop DWI program.
