3:13 p.m.
Troopers were called to the site of a single car crash on Durgy Hill in West Rutland. Their investigation revealed the operator of the vehicle, 30-year-old Kristina Harrington of West Rutland, lost control and struck a utility pole. Troopers allege Harrington showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was processed and later released with a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court-Criminal Division at a later date.
Aug. 15
8:49 p.m.
Troopers were asked to serve a relief-from-abuse order on 52-year-old John Partch of Fair Haven. Prior to their arrival at 41 Washington St., troopers discovered Partch had allegedly caused pain to a household member and had a conviction on a previous domestic assault charge. Troopers discovered Partch was in violation of multiple conditions of his release.
Partch was taken into custody without incident, processed and remanded to the Marble Valley Correctional Facility pending a future court appearance.
Aug. 18
1:01 a.m. Troopers from the Rutland barracks conducted a traffic stop on State Route 103 in Rockingham for an observed traffic violation. During the stop, troopers observed indicators of impairment. Kristy Burgess, 43, of Chester, was administered a standard field sobriety test and subsequently taken into custody for driving under the influence. Burgess was processed and issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division at a later date.
