Following an investigation with the Washington County Adult Protective Services office, deputies arrested 50-year-old Kimberly Ouderkerk of Hudson Falls and 22- year-old Aireal Bailey of Queensbury after it was determined both were attempting to steal money from a patient under their care in the town of Kingsbury. Ouderkerk was charged with attempted grand larceny in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, for allegedly attempting to steal money in excess of $50,000. Bailey was charged with grand larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, after she allegedly stole more than $3,000 from the victim. Both women were arraigned in Washington County Court and released pending a future court appearance. State Police assisted in the investigation.

10:33 a.m. Deputies arrested 30-year-old Justin Lewis of Fort Edward on charges of burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Lewis is alleged to have been in possession of several items stolen during a break-in at the concession stand on the grounds of the Ford Edward High School the preceding day. Lewis was released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear in Fort Edward Village Court at a later date.
