6:05 p.m. State troopers were called to Vermont Route 7A in Arlington for a single vehicle crash. It was determined that James Pecor of Arlington lost control of his Silverado pickup, left the road and struck a tree. Pecor was not injured. During the investigation, troopers said signs of impairment were noticed. Pecor was screened and placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, drugs. He was transported to the Shaftsbury barracks for processing, released in the custody of a sober third party and ordered to appear in Bennington Superior Court-Criminal Division at a later date.
