From left, licensed practical nurses Sabrina Ferguson (21 years) and Laurie Lehoisky (27 years), plus long-time housekeeping employee Tracy Thomas (33 years) recently received a ‘Legends’ carrying case as a thank you from Slate Valley Center in Granville.

Three Slate Valley Center employees were recognized on Friday, May 12, for their two and even three decades of dedication and service to residents of the 88-bed skilled nursing facility in Granville.

“The fact that these three employees have dedicated their professional lives and their careers to these residents is amazing,” said recreation director Andrea Kelley. “Our residents who are long-term and have dementia or other cognitive issues really benefit from seeing these familiar faces who have worked here for a long time. Tracy, Laurie and Sabrina spending so many years here says much about the love they have for their job and for the residents they take care of.”

Being nicknamed “Legends,” these three staff members received a Centers Health Care/Slate Valley Center “Legends” carrying case as a thank you.
