Nipper Knolls Equine Center provides equine-assisted services for children and young adults with special needs.
Nipper Knolls Equine Center, Inc. recently announced that it was awarded a generous grant through the WGY Christmas Wish Campaign.
News Radio 810 & 103.1, their listeners and Curtis Lumber have a longstanding tradition of providing grants to organizations that support children in need in the Capital Region.
All grant funds will go directly to Nipper Knolls program costs as the organization is volunteer-based with no salaries paid.
Nipper Knolls Equine Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and 100% volunteer organization that provides horses, equipment and a center where therapists and certified instructors provide equine-assisted services for children and young adults with special needs. Class sizes are typically a one-to-one or one-to-two ratio, which allows the instructor to focus on each individual’s abilities and needs, making the riding experience therapeutic, educational and enjoyable.
