The West Rutland Carving Studio has endured multiple vandalism in recent weeks with individuals dismantling multiple pieces.

On Wednesday, May 10, more than 30 members of the West Rutland High School baseball and softball teams along with members of the National Honor Society came together with principal Jay Slenker to help clear the destroyed stone wall surrounding the Seven Sisters installation in the Sculpture Garden.

The Rutland County Sheriff’s Office thanks these dedicated students for their sense of community and will try to have extra patrols in the area to deter individuals from doing this again.

Remember, installing cameras can help law enforcement with finding out who commits these crimes.
