Haynes House of Hope, a not-for-profit hospice on state Route 149 in Granville, will hold a basket raffle on Saturday, April 22 at the Hartford Fire Company, located at the corner of state Routes 40 and 149. The doors open at 11 a.m. with drawing starting at 1 p.m.

Haynes House of Hope offers a warm, comfortable and reassuring atmosphere for those in their final stages of life and their families, “We open this home, our hearts and our hands to those that require physical care, emotional support and spiritual comfort, regardless of age, race, color or religious belief,” the home’s mission statement says.  This all comes at no cost to the terminally ill or their families. There is no expectation of payment or financial support.
