Slate Valley Museum in Granville will host two workshops – one for adults and one for children – with artist Christine Levy to learn about the history and how-tos of making Pysanky, or Ukrainian Easter eggs.
Levy is a second-generation Ukrainian American and has been writing Pysanky since she was 10 years old.
On Friday, March 24, from 6 to 9 p.m., Levy will present a workshop for people ages 13 and older. Cost is $40 per person and includes all materials for egg making plus light snacks and beverages. Preregistration and prepayment are required.
On Saturday, March 25, from 1 to 4 p.m., Levy will lead a workshop geared specifically for children ages 6 to 12. Again, the $40 fee includes all materials for egg making plus light snacks and beverages. Preregistration and prepayment are required
