The family of Harry Constantinos announces his death at home on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, of a heart attack.

Harry was born on Sept. 8, 1927, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the eldest of three sons. He worked for General Electric in Pittsfield, Massachusetts until his retirement in 1990. He was a mechanical/electrical engineer and a man of many outside interests and achievements. He was at one time a pilot, guitarist, accomplished hiker, youth group leader for over 20 years, amateur photographer, furniture maker and always an advocate for the less fortunate.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Anne (Moran) Constantinos; two daughters, Sandre Elfast of Tennessee and Lorri Napolitano of Springfield, Massachusetts, and son Craig Constantinos also of Springfield; seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He was predeceased by sons Harry Jr. and Andrew Constantinos.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 13, beginning with a private interment at Wells Village Cemetery in Wells, Vermont, at 11 a.m. There will be a Navy Color Guard, as Harry was a World War II veteran.

The interment will be followed by a Mass of Resurrection at noon in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Wells, with a reception to follow at the parish house next door. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Harry’s name to the Wells Village Library, PO Box 587, Wells, VT 05774; St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, PO Box 726, Wells, VT 05774; Our Neighbors’ Table, PO Box 912, Wells, VT 05774 or to a charity of choice.

All three choices are local organizations very dear to Harry and Anne’s hearts and in which they were both active.
