Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I’m Keith Harrington.

Lady Tanagers Advance Over Scots 

The defending Section II Class D champions advanced to the semifinals with a 58-37 win over Argyle-Fort Edward. 

Alawnah Dunda led the Tanagers with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. 

Cailin Severance added 14 points and Cassandra Wade had 11 points for Hartford. 

Carrie Humiston led Argyle-Fort Edward with 13 points. Kylee Humiston added 12 points.

Hartford advances to play top-seeded Salem in the semifinals on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Averill Park High School.

The Tanagers are now 7-12 on the season. 

Fort Ann Boys Take Down Heatly 

The Fort Ann boys basketball team advanced in Class D sectional play, taking down Heatly 44-33. 

Callon Sutliff paced the Cardinals with 14 points. 

Javier Hernandez added 13 points and Garrett Brown netted 12. 

Ryan Sedgwick scored a game-high 15 points for the Hornets.

Fort Ann advances to meet top seed Northville Saturday in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. at Stillwater High School.

Fort Ann improves to 6-15. 

Whitehall Eliminated From Class C 

The #7 Whitehall boys basketball team was eliminated from the Class C playoffs, falling at home to #10 Schoharie 64-44. 

A 25-9 run through the third quarter proved to be the difference in the contest. 

Matt Bernhardt netted 28 points to lead Schoharie.  

Preston DiGiovanni added 15 points. 

Latrell Evans led the Railroaders with 17 points. Cash Burgey added 15.

Whitehall finishes the season 13-8.
