Rep. Elise Stefanik has announced she was reappointed by Speaker Kevin McCarthy to serve as a senior member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for the 118th Congress.
In her press release, Stefanik said “as our world becomes increasingly more dangerous, the work of our Intelligence Committee is vital to protecting our nation against these threats. I am honored to continue my work as a senior member of this committee to serve to strengthen our national security, provide critical oversight of our nation’s intelligence to restore Americans’ trust in these agencies.”
Stefanik has served on the committee since 2017. This committee is charged with oversight of the United States Intelligence Community and the Military Intelligence Program.
