Hartford girls beat North Warren, 75-42

Hartford exploded for its highest point output of the season and rolled over North Warren, 75-42, in Chestertown in Adirondack League girls basketball.

The Tanagers have won two in a row and three of their last four as they try to claw their way into the league playoffs as a wild-card entry.

“We’ve got to win out the rest of the way,” said Hartford coach Jason Johnson. “Having our entire team has helped.”

Alawnah Dunda scored 18 points and Mckenzie Johnson added 16 for the Tanagers. Raeghan Liebig contributed 11, Cailin Severance nine, Cassandra Wade eight and Madison Whaley six for Hartford.

Kiki LaGuerre and Laci Bruno had 12 points each for North Warren.

Hartford is now 5-5, 5-8. North Warren is 1-8, 1-12.
