Granville Defeats North Warren in ADK Showdown 

The Granville boys basketball team went on the road and earned one of their biggest wins of the season, defeating North Warren 64-54 in an Adirondack League showdown. Both teams entered the evening with just one league loss. 

The win puts Granville in the driver’s seat to be the top seed in the upcoming Adirondack League playoffs. 

Free throw shooting was the key as Granville went 16 for 20 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. 

Caleb Nelson paced Granville with 26 points, going 12 for 15 from the line. 

Cody Nelson added 15 points. Alex Torres and Trey Senevey contributed eight points apiece.

Derrick Tyrell scored 18 points for North Warren. Cooper Morehouse added 11 and  Angelo Willette 10. Sean Evans chipped in eight. 

Granville improves to 10-1, 11-3. North Warren falls to 8-2, 9-4. 

Whitehall Completes Season Sweep of Blue Devils 

Whitehall completed the season sweep of their Vermont border rivals Poultney, rolling past the Blue Devils 57-37 in a non-league contest. 

Latrell Evans scored 26 points to lead the Railroaders. Cash Burgey added 13 and Jake Whiting with 11 for Whitehall. 

Craig Baptie led Poultney with 15 points. Peyton Book added right and Marcus Lewis six. 

Poultney Girls Defeat MSJ 

The Poultney girls basketball team rallied in the second half to defeat MSJ 33-23 in a low scoring defensive affair. 

MSJ led 3-2 after a quarter and led by five at the half. 

Poultney led by a point heading to the fourth and pulled away after that. 

Kait DeBonis led the Blue Devils with 11 points. 

Lauryn Charron led the Mounties with eight points. 

Poultney is 10-3. MSJ is 5-7. 

Dingmon Hits 1,000 Points as Corinth Cruises Past Northville 

Junior Emily Dingmon surpassed the 1,000 career point mark as Corinth cruised past Northville 49-24 in a non-league girls basketball game. 

Dingmon recorded a double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds. 

Freshman Whitney Cameron also had a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards. 

Alexis Crossman grabbed 11 rebounds for the Tomahawks. 

Hailey Monroe led the way for Northville with 12 points.

Corinth raised their overall mark to 12-1 on the season.
