Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I’m Keith Harrington. 

Granville Stays Perfect in ADK 

The Granville boys basketball team stayed perfect in Adirondack League play, rolling over Corinth 78-30 Wednesday evening. 

Granville took control right from the start and led 51-19 at the half. 

Caleb Nelson had a huge game for Granville  with 24 points, 15 rebounds, five steals and five assists. 

Cody Nelson added 22 points for the Golden Horde. Alex Torres grabbed seven rebounds and Trey Senevey added seven points, five rebounds and four steals for Granville.

Corinth was led by Kaden Wright who scored nine points. 

Granville improved to 5-0, 6-2. Corinth is 2-3, 2-5. 

Poultney Girls Continue to Roll 

The Poultney girls basketball continued to roll as they defeated Twin Valley 66-6. 

Kaydyn L’Esperance led the Blue Devils with 10 points. Hannah Welch added eight. Bella Mack and Kait DeBonis added eight apiece. 

Poultney is 6-1 on the season. 

Hartford Defeats Salem 

The Hartford boys basketball team picked up a win at the Ella Colvin Gym, defeating Salem 74-29. 

Ray Harrington paced the Tanagers with 19 points and five assists. Austin Wells added 17 points for Hartford. 

Nate Fiske added 13 points and five steals. Jesse Baker hauled in 10 rebounds, John Gauthier had nine boards and Cody Baker collected eight for Hartford. 

Stephen Yakubec led the Generals with seven points. 

Hartford is now 3-2, 3-4. 

Hadley-Luzerne Takes Down Railroaders

Hadley-Luzerne took down Whitehall 58-38 on their home court in Adirondack League boys basketball. 

Josh Ellis poured in a game-high 30 points for the Eagles. 

Evan Kader added eight points for Hadley-Luzerne. 

Cash Burgey led Whitehall  with 18 points. Latrell Evans chipped in 12.

Hadley-Luzerne is now 5-1, 6-3. Whitehall is 3-4, 4-5. 

Whitehall Grapplers Defeat South High 

The Whitehall wrestling team defeated South Glens Falls 57-18 in a non-league match Wednesday evening. 

On the mat the Railroaders got pins from Allen Beaulieu at 132, Ayden Smith at 138, Kyle Lavin at 145, Sawyer Ostrander at 152, Chad Monty at 172 and Troy Austin at 189. 

Matt Ingerson won by a 16-9 decision over Samuel Bhatti. 

Elijah Rubrecht, Ethan Stoodly and Dylan Gordon won by forfeit for Whitehall. 

Golden Horde Fall to Warrensburg-Lake George 

The Granville wrestling team went on the road and fell to Warrensburg-Lake George 47-27. 

Quinn Johnson, Brandon Beaver, Antonio Landon and Brent Perry won by pin for Granville. 

Nathan Barber won by a 6-2 decision over Colton Bell. 

Warrensburg-Lake George got pins from Zachary Olden, Gavin McCabe, Keith Sonley, 

Dante Corriveau won over Jaxon Torres by technical fall at 4:52.
