Fair Haven Boys Edge Rutland 

The Fair Haven boys basketball team remained unbeaten with one of their biggest tests of the season, edging Division I Rutland 54-50 on Monday night. 

The win avenged a 27 point loss to Rutland for the Slaters a year ago. 

Sophomore Phil Bean had a monster game for Fair Haven with 19 points and 10 rebounds to record a double-double. 

Joe Buxton had 14 points for the Slaters. Sawyer Ramey added 12 and Sam Barber nine. 

Eric Swain led Rutland with 23 points. Will Fuller chipped in 14. 

Fair Haven is 6-0. Rutland is 2-6. 

Corinth Cruise Past Granville Girls 

Corinth remained perfect in Adirondack League play by cruising past Granville 65-28 in girls basketball Monday night. 

Emily Dingmon filled up the stat sheet for the Tomahawks with 26 points,  seven rebounds, five steals and four assists. 

Alexis Crossman added 14 points, nine steals, five assists and four rebounds for Corinth. Whitney Cameron.added eight points. 

Lilly Strout led the Golden Horde with 11 points. 

Corinth is now 5-0, 6-1. Granville is 1-3, 2-5. 

Burghers Defeat Lake George Boys 

It had been 21 years since Warrensburg had defeated Lake George in boys basketball. That trend changed Monday night. The Burghers easily rolled over the Warriors 58-28 in an Adirondack League contest. 

Stevie Schloss finished with 26 points for Warrensburg. 

Evan LaPell added 12 points, Caden Allen had 10, and Brady Cheney chipped in with nine points and 16 rebounds. 

Lake George received 11 points from Luke Sheldon. 

Warrensburg is 4-1, 7-2. Lake George is 1-4, 1-6. 

Warrensburg Girls Also Defeat Warriors 

The Warrensburg girls completed the Monday night sweep of Lake George, defeating the Warriors 37-30 in Adirondack League play. 

Hope Sherman recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 boards for the Burghers. 

Elli York also scored 10 points and added six rebounds for Warrensburg. 

Mikah Fisher led the Warriors with 11 points and seven rebounds. Caroline Campbell added 11 rebounds.  Angelina Minnear had 10 boards and six points.

Warrensburg improved to 4-2, 6-4.
