Fair Haven Defeats Mechanicville 

Fair Haven traveled across the New York border for one of their toughest challenges of the season and defeated Mechanicville 55-46 at the Impact Athletic Center in Clifton Park. 

The Red Raiders cut a 13 point Slater lead down to six late in the contest. Fair Haven however hit key free throws down the stretch to hang on for the win. 

Sawyer Ramey was 7-for-8 at the line in the fourth quarter for the Slaters. 

Joe Buxton led Fair Haven with 13 points. Sam Barber had 12, Ramey 11 and Phil Bean 10.

Fen Egan led Mechanicville with 13 points.

Golden Horde Girls Fall to Salem in Glens Falls Tournament 

Salem blew open a close game in the second half to defeat Granville 61-41 in the Glens Falls Grandstanders Holiday Tournament. It was the second win of the season over the Golden Horde for the Generals. 

Salem led 14-2 after the first quarter, but Granville pulled within two at the half. The Generals took control in the third quarter. 

Mary Kate McPhee scored 18 points to lead Salem. 

Sophia Keays had 15 and Hannah Gongola added 13. Sierra Phillips contributed six points for the Generals. 

Jordan Chadwick scored 14 points for Granville. Lilly Strout added 13 points and 17 boards. 

Salem is now 6-1. Granville is 2-4. 

Tigers Take Down Burghers 

Hudson Falls Defeated Warrensburg for the second time this season, taking down the Burghers 69-47 in a non-league girls basketball contest Wednesday night. 

Seneca Williamson sank five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points for the Tigers. 

Mya Nolan scored 13 points, Abigail Bigelow finished with 12, Madalyn Dudley scored eight and Ella Johnson added six for Hudson Falls. 

Hope Sherman led Warrensburg with 18 points. Kara Bacon recorded 12 points, and Zailey Baker had seven. 

Argyle Cruises Past Hornets 

Argyle received another huge game from Hunter Ingram as they cruised by Heatly 84-34. 

Ingram finished with 35 points, including eight 3-pointers for the Scots. 

Brandon Saunders added 20 points for Argyle. . Cole Schilling scored nine points and Brad Koopman added seven for the Scots. 

Angelo Casale led Heatly with 10 points.

Argyle is now 4-3 on the season. 

Greenwich Sweeps Tanagers 

Greenwich completed the season sweep of Hartford, topping the Tanagers 72-48 at the Ella Colvin Gym. 

Joe Skiff scored a game-high 19 points for the Witches. 

Ryan Alling had 16 points, Ryan Ingber had 15, Cal Curtis recorded nine and Jacob Ziehm added seven for Greenwich. 

Ray Harrington and Austin Wells scored 13 points each for Hartford. Nate Fiske chipped in 12. 

Greenwich is now 5-2. Hartford is 2-4.
