Mary E. (Dalton) Dudla, 85, of Halfmoon and Granville, New York, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York, after a long illness.
Mary was born July 19, 1937, in Granville, the daughter of William C. and Lucille Scholl Dalton. She was a 1952 graduate of Granville High School and a 1955 graduate of the Ellis Hospital School of Nursing. She married Paul P. Dudla of Granville and raised her family in Halfmoon.
She worked for many years in the tri-city area as an RN. She and her husband Paul owned and operated Northeastern Professional Services in Clifton Park.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, her husband Paul in 1991, her brother William M. Dalton and her brother-in-law Richard Oates.
She is survived by her children Shawn, Aaron (Valerie), Alan, Cecelia (Andrew), Reilly and William (Bich) as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are her sisters Carol Oates and Margaret (Bud) Davies.
Ever the health care professional, Mary requested that her body be donated to medical science.
A memorial service will be held on, or near, her birthday in 2023.
