Happy belated birthday wishes to Janet Durkee, Raceville Road, this community who celebrated her birthday on Friday, Nov. 11.

Sympathy is extended to Debbie Rhode and family of Middle Granville on the passing of her mother, Thelma Petty of Granville, who passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness. A funeral was held on Thursday, Nov. 17, at the United Methodist Church of Granville with Dan Poucher presiding. Burial followed at the Elmwood Cemetery in Middle Granville.

Happy birthday wishes to Jamie Conant of this community who celebrated her birthday on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Congratulations to Amber Gibbs of this community who competed in the New York State Class C cross country championships at Vernon Verona Sherrill High School. You have achieved your dream, and your friends and neighbors are so very happy for you. Amber was undefeated in the Adirondack League and won the league championship where she was named MVP.

Happy birthday wishes to Marc Thomas of this community who will celebrate his birthday on Friday, Nov. 25.
