Neighbors – Raceville, Nov. 17, 2022

Raceville Methodist Church members and North Granville Methodist Church members gathered together for their yearly conference meeting with superintendent Deborah Earthrowl on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Raceville Church. Attendance was good, lunch was served and good plans were made for the coming year.

All veterans were remembered on Friday, Nov. 11, at the Raceville Methodist Church with the bell tolling 11 times at the 11th hour on the 11th day. Remembrance was for all who gave some and some who gave all for our freedom.

Mission accomplished for Amber Gibbs, daughter of Nate and Sabrina Gibbs of this community who is headed for the states. Congratulations, Amber, you reached your goal. Amber is a junior at Granville Junior/Senior High School. Best of luck at the states.

Sympathy is extended to Gary and Martha Jurnak and family of Middle Granville on the passing of his mother Arlene Jurnak of Granville on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at her home. Donations in her name may be made to the Granville Rescue Squad, PO Box 153, Granville, NY 12832.

Jordan Barrett of Lake Luzerne spent the weekend with his great-grandparents Dorothy and Milton Smith of New Boston Road.
