Stacie Lynn Armer, 54, gained her angel wings on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, with her brother Bernie by her side after a long battle with complications stemming from lupus.
Born on Sept. 13, 1968, in Glens Falls, New York, she was the daughter of Clarence and Virginia (Hammond) Armer. She grew up in Granville and enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Later she moved to Hickory, North Carolina where she owned and ran her own restaurant, The Grapevine. Stacie loved to cook and have family gatherings at her home, including her neighbors, friends and family. She was very special to many people she had in her life. In her down time Stacie enjoyed going to the beach with her family and crafting.
Her pride and joy was her dog Bingo. She loved him to pieces; he was her world and now they are together again. She enjoyed coming up and going to bingo and the Saratoga racino with her mom, Lou, Joe and Colleen.
Stacie is predeceased by her father, her brothers Randy and Daniel and her sister Robin, as well as her paternal grandparents Leon and Letha Armer of Truthville and maternal grandparents Willard and Ethel Hammond of Middle Granville.
Stacie is survived by her mother Virginia Armer of North Granville, her brother Bernie of Lake Hickory, North Carolina, Lewis Armer of North Granville and Joseph Armer (Colleen) of Middle Granville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
We will always remember Stacie as someone who liked to call the shots, was exceptionally caring, loving and would do anything for her family and friends. She could light up a room with her smile, and we all will miss her dearly.
She asked for so little, but she gave so very much.
Funeral arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
