Drop-in tours of the gardens at Yaddo will be offered on Fridays and Sundays, from Sept. 16 through Oct. 30. No tours will be offered on Friday, Sept. 30; Sunday, Oct. 2; and Friday, Oct. 7 because of scheduled private events in the gardens.

Visitors should meet at the parking lot entrance to the garden at 4 p.m. Tours are $10 per person and are payable by cash or check only.

Garden-only ghost tours include historic information about Yaddo, the gardens and stories about ghost sightings.

The grounds of Yaddo, including the gardens, are a privately funded, nonprofit artist retreat established by the Trask family in 1893. Yaddo’s gardens are the only area on the grounds of Yaddo that are open to the public. Yaddo asks that visitors respect the privacy of its artists in residence and not go beyond the gardens during their visit.
