John Weber of the Fort Edward Historical Association invites all to join him for a weekly evening of lively conversation about history.
New history, ancient history, two-week-old or 18th-century history and anything in between. Come to converse or listen and learn – to agree or disagree – but mainly to enjoy an hour-and-a-half of friendly conversation about history with other friendly folks.
This picturesque region is gilded with the blood, sweat, passion and brilliance our history – from the Colonial times through the French & Indian and Revolutionary War eras.
No one can turn around twice without tracing the footprints of the area’s larger-than-life forebears – or gliding canoes over the same rivers and lakes they traversed. So why not get together and talk about them: Historic topics needn’t be limited to local history – there’s plenty to go around.
Conversations will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Ye Deli located at 7 East St. in Fort Edward.
All ages are welcome and the event is free of charge. The Fort Edward Historical Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association.
