Austin, other wrestlers league all-stars

Whitehall and Granville are well represented on the Adirondack League wrestling all-stars team for the 2021-2022 season. Wrestlers who represented the league and Section II at the state championships led the way.
Whitehall wrestlers honored include 189 sixth-place finisher in the state and Class D sectional champion Troy Austin, along with Sawyer Ostrander (152).
Named to the team from Granville-Fort Ann were Brent Perry, the Section II Class C champion and seventh-place finisher in the state at 189 pounds, Thomas McMahon (138), Quinn Johnson (118) and Jaxon Torres at (110).
Earning Honorable Mention were Nick Crum of Granville-Fort Ann at 126 and Allen Beaulieu of Whitehall at 118.
Warrensburg led the way in all-stars. Division II state champion Tristen Hitchcock (285), Tanner McKenna (132) Dylan Winchell (126), Dante Corriveau 145, Hunter Nemec (215), Zachary Olden (118), Colton Bell (138), and Caiden Mosher (160).
Winchell, Corriveau, and Nemec were state qualifiers.
Third-place finisher Evan Day (285) of Salem-Cambridge was honored along with Henry Dill (102), Quinn Donaldson (189), and Lucas Martindale.
Wrestlers honored from Hadley Luzerne-Lake George include Logan Marissal, who placed fourth at 215 at the state tournament, and Carter McIntosh (138).
Also receiving Honorable Mention were Jade Rumble of Warrensburg (102), Rylie Burr of Salem-Cambridge (215), Ethan York of Lake George-Hadley-Luzerne (110) and Grace York of Hadley-Luzerne-Lake George (118).
