Mary J. Tanner School kindergarten screening will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 22 and 23. Your child is eligible for kindergarten if they turn five years old by Dec. 1, 2022. On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10 and 11, pre-K screening will take place. Your child is eligible for pre-K if they turn four years old by Dec. 1, 2022. Appointments are needed. Deepest sympathy to Mrs. Betty Gravelle of Middle Granville and family on the passing of her husband Earl D. “John” Gravelle on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire. A funeral was held on Friday, Feb. 18, at the Robert M. King Funeral Home in Granville. Burial will be in the spring.

The Granville Ecumenical Council met on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the Granville Presbyterian Church on Quaker Street. The meeting was well attended by all the churches. Meetings will be held every month.

Happy birthday wishes to Nate Gibbs Sr. of this community who will celebrate his birthday on Tuesday, March 1.

Douglas Baker and Collie Warren spent Sunday, Feb. 13, in New Haven, Vermont, visiting his family Debbie and Bill Robinson and his grandson Scott Robinson and daughters Layla and Stella of Apple Valley, Minnesota, who are in Vermont visiting his parents.
