Boys soccer league all-stars named

The boys soccer coaches of the Adirondack League have selected the 2021 Adirondack League all-stars and league powers Lake George and Fort Ann dominated the selections with eight between them. Granville and Hartford each placed a pair of players on the team.

Lake George’s Sam Knauf was named the Adirondack League Most Valuable Player. Knauf led the Warriors in scoring and helped lead Lake George to its fifth consecutive league title.

The Warriors had five players selected to the team. Runner-up Fort Ann had four players honored.

Granville senior forward Connor Farrell was recognized as a first team all-star. Farrell became the Golden Horde’s all-time career-leading scorer this season. He also set a new school record for goals in a single season.

Hartford was represented on the first team by forward Michael Jones.

Granville midfielder Nate Aldous was named a member of the second team all-stars.

Hartford Midfielder Cody Baker was also named to the second team.
