Whitehall, Horde post baseball all-stars

Two members of the Granville team who finished atop the league in the regular season were honored and Whitehall placed three players on the team as the coaches named the Adirondack League Baseball All-Stars.
Brendan Lamby of Lake George was named the Adirondack League Most Valuable Player. Lamby pitched and played outfield for the Warriors. His hitting and speed on the bases helped lead the Warriors to the league title and the Section II Class final.
Granville was represented on the first team by senior Josh Nelson. Nelson had a stellar season for the Golden Horde at the plate and on the bump.
Brandon Bakerian and Tyler Fish were named to the first team from Whitehall. Both played instrumental roles in the Railroaders’ offense and were key parts of the Whitehall pitching rotation.
Bryce Tyler of Hartford/Fort Edward was also named to the first team.
Other first team honorees are Adam Winchell and Ty Loso of Fort Ann, Argyle’s Tyler Humiston, and Salem’s Blake Baylor.
Josh Oakman of Granville and Matthew Gould of Whitehall were both named to the second team.
Other members of the second team include Torin Davies of Lake George, Jack Dornan of Fort Ann, Peyton Ottens of Hartford-Fort Edward, Dan Lohret of Argyle, Tanner Dunkley of North Warren, David White of Corinth, Nick Sorbera of Corinth.
