Granville, New York – Albertine L. Shaw, age 100, of Newtown, Connecticut, formerly of Hebron, New York, wife of the late Franklin E. Shaw, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Danbury Hospital.

Albertine was born July 31, 1920, in Granville, New York, to the late Flord and Eliza Barkley. Albertine loved being in her garden, crocheting and any crafts she could get her hands on. She loved having her family around and cooked many family dinners.

She is predeceased by her husband, parents, sisters and one son Earl Shaw.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Luella Balogh of Newtown, Connecticut, and Bertha Rodgers of Wolcott, Connecticut; three sons Egbert Shaw of Hebron, New York, Franklin Shaw of Webster, Florida, and Eric Shaw of Palmyra, New York; along with many grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Interment will take place on Saturday, June 26, at 11:30 a.m. in North Hebron Cemetery with the Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.
